Lewistown, MT. Nov 17, 2012. #1. I installed a Predator 212cc in my boy's 120 Polaris. Must be a little bigger motor than the old clone but still doable. Had to move the motor forward about an inch to clear the valve cover. Little tweaking on steering arm and she is up and running w/ a straight pipe for now. Very noisy.

Its an old hangup. 196s used to be harder to mod, and the smaller 5/8 only shaft size was a hindrance (though you can still end up with a 5/8, theyre mostly 3/4 now, and adapters are easier to get). Plus the 212 sounds bigger if you're new to the game.

It's a real pain in the ass to try to put gas in this thing without changing the gas tank.
