While I personally have enjoyed the Steel Path so far(8 planets in), I foresee a big problem with the mode's longevity. At the current reward rate (low Steel Essence/Riven Sliver drop rates) I think most players will be done w/ the mode once they've cleared the Star Chart, and likely not touch it again outside of certain fan-favorite nodes like Mot, Hydron, etc. Every tier (except 5 and 10 of course) has a separate drop table and is randomized from that, although tier 9 only has 25x Steel Essence in the drop table.
