I just took a quick look at an area online listing. There were 2 Marlin 336's for sale in .35 Remington. One was a 1974 and was just like the one posted originally here, but without a scope, asking $550. The Marlin Lever Gun is excellent for use in brush country because it is easy to mount and gives opportunity for a quick second shot when needed. The .358" bullet at 200 grains does have greater energy (on both ends) than it's cousin the 30-30.
