He's got a video on his YouTube channel showing off his build. This build was with a PTR91 barrel, a CETME C kit, and cost about 325 (sans optic).The Modelo C was produced until 1976. CETME Modelo C. cetme model c kits. 06-17-2015, 1:34 PM. So what I have found on the Google is the cetme is a less refined g3 or ptr. Besides the ugly bolt carrier welds is seems like it was poor assembly. Not just bad parts.

I built a CETME C from a parts kit on a century receiver, and while it was a good learning experience, it just didn’t spark joy in the end. I sold it and bought a PTR 91. Yeah, having a roller gun built is $$$, but DIY just doesn’t get you anything of good quality unless you already have a big investment in building guns. Century is also crap.It is a reassembled Cetme C with american parts. The HK 91 is a clone of the Cetme C.
