Take a look at the bars on the link Sailor Lunatone posted. Revo basics is good (Revo++ isn't a good way to ease yourself in at all). Use the highest AADPT bar which doesn't stun that you can from the list linked. Use revolution for basics-only and manually click your thresholds and ultimate abilities.
The melee minion requires a stun and the range minion requires a threshold to kill. It's best to manually trigger these abilities or you'll fail the dps check. I use full revo but put my threshold near the end so they're not used, and I have the stun for melee guys outside of the revolution bar. I revo zuk with magic pretty easily.
