Personally I went for audit (but will be leaving soon) because I prefer working with financial accounting. From personal testimony, I think audit is a grueling field. It’s not so much applying in depth accounting principles, but just obsessing over documentation and evidence. That practice is pretty OCD imo (every little detail has to be right).
