This happened to me twice in the last three weeks. Evidently every time someone in the account logged out, Comcast failed to close out the video stream session. Comcast Advanced Repair agreed that it should not be happening at all, and referred the problem to the engineers for a more permanent solution. In the meantime, she did the following:

Same issue with my 2021 Samsung Smart TVs. After several weeks, finally yesterday Xfinity stream was working, but buggy. I found that Xfinity stream worked fine with my Roku on another TV, so bought the Roku Express 4K for under $30 and set it up on my newer Samsung, set up Xfinity Stream through the Roku and it works perfectly.Alternatively, you can play Xfinity content using a mobile device, and then, on your home WiFi network, use Bluetooth to cast the programming to your Samsung SmartTV. We apologize that the Xfinity Stream app is not working as seamlessly as we would like, but a fix should be coming out soon to help resolve these issues.

I have tried about everything I can think of, including: Uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Switching to the Hidden Network I have set up to go straight to the modem instead of through the third-party router.
