Lml duramax crank no start.

Won't start. Took the factory fuel filter off (was band new 2500 miles ago last week) and it didn't appear to be gelled. (I've never seen what gelled diesel looks like but it acted like normal fuel and poured out) warmed up the factory filter inside, put a little 911 in it, installed it, let the lift pump run while cracking the filter so fuel ...It's a 2011 LML diesel: 1. Turn on key, all the usual lights come on in the instrument panel. 2. Wait for the glow plug light to go out, during which most of the other lights also go out. No problem so far. 3. Only two lights remain on - the usual yellow engine light, plus the anti-theft light in red with a padlock. 4.Check fuses/relays. If the Injection Pump Fuse blew it would cause loss of communication. Sounds a lot like the old Cummins VP44 issue. The relay that gave the injection pump power had a faulty socket in the fuse block and would drop power and it would throw a communication code almost exactly like that and result in a no start condition. 2.Possible someone shimmed the valve and lost parts-- COMMON. Pull the "U" hose from the fuel rail-- plug the hose. Connect a hose to the nipple on the fuel rail. Crank the engine--- any fuel coming out of the fuel rail nipple -- the FPRV is leaking fuel-- IT WILL NEVER START.2011 LML Won't start. Best wishes for all! Kindly ask about some expert opinion. Let it sit for 2 hours and got back in it. It started and ran long enough to get it into reverse and then died. Put it back in park and tried to restart and it just spins and spins and won’t fire. Has a full tank of fuel, reprimed the filter and line to make sure it didn’t loose prime. Also inspected all fuses under the hood and they are fine.

It will lope hard if it starts, But it's an idea. Or you can try to pressurize the tank with about 10psi and try starting the truck.
