Find your currently connected controller, right click and go to properties. Go to Hardware. Highlight "HID-compliant game controller", and go to properties. Go to Change Settings. Go to Driver tab. Click Disable Device. Make sure Forza Horizon 5 isn't detecting controller inputs anymore. Re-enable the Device.

The only way to solve this is to set the steering angle in the Thrustmaster Control Panel. I use 540° as it is an overall good setting for most cars in the game.
