After replacing the whole ignition system (ignition coil, stator with pickup coil, plug, wire, CDI, voltage regulator, solenoid) I still have no spark. I checked the ETC and …turn the key nothing hapens. no power at the key atall. all fuses and relays are good. grounds are good. NOW THE WEIRD STUFF. i have batt power to the efi relay and the fan relay. but no power (key on or off) to the chassis relay or the fuelpump/ignition coil relay. the ignition coil/ fuel pump relay left 2 terminals (both are red/white) ohm ...Lube all the threads on the bolts and the puller. Tighten down on it. If it doesnt come right off u may have to heat the flywheel around the center, make sure the puller is good and tight and hit the puller (the part u turn to pull the part) with a hammer a few good times. 2000 Xplorer 400 4x4. .040 over, head shaved .020.

As I was tightening the positive to the solenoid down by the battery, the lug twisted off.
