Piercing itchy.
My first set of piercings are almost 20 years old, the one that started oozing is about a decade old. I have two side by side, run of the mill piercings on ear lobes. I recently put in a pair of earrings with no issues, except the hole I wasn't wearing the earrings in got red/bled/oozed pus. There were absolutely no earrings in that piercing.
Even with canned saline that had the ideal salt amount can make piercings itchy. I find rinsing off saline after spraying my piercings helps stop it from itching. And lastly, I would factor in other stuff like seasonal allergies. This year particularly, a lot of people’s seasonal allergies, including myself, have gotten way worse than before. Itchiness is a very common side effect of healing, so it's actually a good (but uncomfortable) thing. I had itchiness with all my piercings when they were newer (lobes, double helix, nipples). Warm showers and some gauze soaked in saline spray gently held on the area for a bit always helped me! Thyroid disorders. Kidney disease. Pregnancy. Nerve disorders.
