The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl. Most of the jets were clear but I still used music wire and air to clear any blockages. 2008 KFX 450R problems. How are you to check the oil level. The book that I got tells me to stand it on it's back bumper and check the oil level in the sight glass. The problem is all the oil came out the engine breather and pluged the filter. It lost like 1/2 a liter/quart or more.KFX 90 starter issues. When you push the button to start it, sometimes to turn over & other times it will sound like the starter just spins. I have taken the starter out & tested it & it does spin when hooked up to a battery. I also pulled out the starter gear that the starter spins.
