I took Data Structures over the summer (asynchronous) and it was the worst designed and structured class I have taken here. Everything is pre recorded and posted online, so there's no communication between you and the professor. They posted half hour videos as lectures, which is nowhere near close to what you'd get in fall/spring.On the other hand, what you learn in econometrics likely will not do much for you at all in discrete II / 477. Either way is fine, I don't think these classes together are a terrible workload at all. Also, if you have a strong background (really knowing the material well) from your stats background is, then econometrics should be straightforward.Recommended textbook: H.
