The stripers have moved to clear water in the middle of the lake, and are stacked up in schools in about 40 feet of water. The lake is very diverse, offering rocky cliffs, sandy beaches, islands and coves. The red river feeds into the lake from the West so the water on that side is not very clear, but the water by the dam is deep and clear.
