A 20% speed boost would put you leaps and bounds ahead of people who don't have the opportunity to imprint (let alone breed), and you can forget about wild dinos. Your damage buff is based on the imprint percenrage. If you, for example imprint for 50%, you have a 50% of 30% total damage/reduction. An easy formula would be x*30/100 with x being the percentage of imprint you have on your dino. You'll know how much % of damage and damage reduction you'll get.
