Works on our Accord as long as we are closer than 10 feet away from the car. Does not work at all on our HR-V. On our older cars it works without a fob by basically doing the same thing with the key in the door handle. I had a Lexus RX350 and the unlock button on the key fob must have been accidentally held down while in my pocket. Fortunately I discovered it right away as all the windows and sunroof were open and it was raining! I had the dealer re-program to delete that feature.
