If I let it idle for a bit when I grab it to use it it does. I figured that the low setting is to lean so I removed limiter caps so I can get it dialed in. It's pretty easy to take your old carb, remove the red limit tabs and then carefully count the turns needed to lightly seat the needles. This will give you a good idea what the factory settings are.
