The truck showed a p0090 fuel pressure reg code. I tried replacing the mid harness and replacing the fuel pressure regulator. Truck starts up and sounds like its knocking then alms down a bit and sounds like a lb7 but fuel rail pressure stays around 20-23k there is no demand for it as the truck is idling. It's in limp at 2k hits a rev limiter.

It also requires ECM programming to deal with the DTC’s associated with removal of the EGR motor. Essentially an EGR delete removes the EGR valve/motor assembly along with the EGR cooler etc.

Cranks, no start. I isolated it to the wiring harness, and sure enough there was a spot where a metal bracket had worn through the wiring harness.I’m trying to help my buddy with a new-to-him LBZ. So, got my first duramax and have been chasing a turbo issue. Got some codes and ended up pulling the turbo and giving the vanes a good deep clean, put it back together and they were nice and smooth. I still had the codes so I swapped the VPS and the solenoid with known good ones.09 lmm throwing p0090 code fpr circuit. I’ve changed fpr, mass air flow sensor, map sensor, throttle position sensor. Still getting code. I ohmed out my fpr wire and it’s good. I’m showing 25k-29k psi on fuel rail. I’m also only getting 2.5v-3v at the fpr plug. I’ve read it’s suppose to be 5v. any input is welcome.
