It's usually Sulphur from bunson burners used to try and keep mites away. And it's gets extracted during making of wax. Some guy on here years ago winterized some burnt rubber wax and put a clean copper penny in there. It literally pulled all the Sulphur to the penny becaue of science. Can't find the post.

The sulphur like smells implies an infection, and, in this case, it's probably your sinuses even without other symptoms. A ct of the sinuses would check for that. As for the stool smell, I don't think that's an infection, but a stool sample sent to the lab would check for that.
